Health Talk 2023

Healthy Body, Happy Family
"Noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) kill 41 million people each year, equivalent to 74% of all deaths globally.
Each year, 17 million people die from an NCD before age 70; 86% of these premature deaths occur in low- and middle-income countries." - WHO, 22 Sept 2022.

The top 5 NCDs are heart disease, stroke, cancer, diabetes and chronic lung disease.

"Children, adults and the elderly are all vulnerable to the risk factors contributing to NCDs, whether from unhealthy diets, physical inactivity, exposure to tobacco smoke or the harmful use of alcohol." WHO, 22 Sept 2022.

In the upcoming health talks, our experienced medical practitioners will talk about Heart disease, Diabetes, Nutrition, and Hydrotherapy. They will share useful and practical insight on how to manage and lower the risk of contracting some of the NCDs.

We invite you and your family to come and learn to have a healthier body, and healthier mind and become a happier family.

"He who has health has hope; and he who has hope, has everything." - Thomas Carlyle.
